Dosage & Administration

Dosing by Condition

Duodenal ulcer: 15-30mg once daily for 4 weeks. Gastric ulcer: 30mg once daily for 8 weeks. GERD/Erosive esophagitis: 30mg once daily for 4-8 weeks. H. pylori eradication: 30mg twice daily for 7-14 days (with antibiotics). Zollinger-Ellison syndrome: 60mg once daily, titrate as needed. NSAID-associated ulcer prevention: 15mg once daily

30mg once daily in the morning before eating

Maintenance Dose

15-30mg once daily

Maximum Dose

120mg/day (Zollinger-Ellison syndrome); 30mg/day for standard indications

Dose Adjustment Notes

Severe hepatic impairment: do not exceed 30mg/day. Renal impairment: no dose adjustment required. Doses above 30mg/day for Zollinger-Ellison may be divided twice daily
