Salofalk Enema 4gm is a prescription medicine used to treat inflammation in the lower part of the bowel. It contains mesalazine, which helps reduce inflammation and relieve symptoms.

What it is used for:
- Treatment and maintenance of remission in ulcerative colitis, especially affecting the rectum and lower colon.

Who should not take it:
- People allergic to mesalazine, salicylates, or any of the ingredients
- Patients with severe liver or kidney problems
- Children unless prescribed by a doctor

Side effects:
1. Abdominal pain
2. Diarrhea
3. Headache
4. Nausea
5. Rash
6. Rarely, blood disorders or allergic reactions

Warnings and precautions:
