Hypersensitivity to polyethylene glycol, propylene glycol, or any other ingredient in the formulation.
Warnings & Precautions
For ophthalmic use only; do not use if solution changes color/becomes cloudy; avoid contaminating the dropper tip; remove contact lenses before use and reinsert after ~15 minutes; stop use and consult a clinician if eye pain, vision changes, or redness/irritation worsens or persists (e.g., >72 hours).
Age Restriction
No specific age restriction in labeling; use in children should be under healthcare professional guidance (especially in very young children).
Driving Warning
May temporarily cause blurred vision; use caution when driving or operating machinery until vision clears.

Pharmacology
Mechanism of Action
Ocular demulcents (polyethylene glycol 400 and propylene glycol) that lubricate and protect the ocular surface by supplementing/stabilizing the tear film and reducing evaporation/irritation.
Onset of Action
Immediate (within seconds to minutes).
Duration of Effect
Variable; typically provides relief for several hours (often ~1-4 hours), and may require reapplication as needed.
Half-Life
Not applicable/Not established (no meaningful systemic half-life); ocular residence is governed by tear film dynamics.
Bioavailability
Minimal to negligible systemic absorption/bioavailability after ophthalmic administration; primarily local ocular surface action.
Metabolism
Not clinically relevant/Not established; minimal systemic absorption, so systemic metabolism is not expected to be meaningful.
