Recommended for use alongside a normal dietary intake of calcium. Vitamin D needs rise when diet or lifestyle provides too little, such as during pregnancy.

Usage & Dosage

Take exactly as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. The usual intake is one to two soft gelatin capsules daily with food.

Special Populations

Used during pregnancy and lactation for antenatal and postnatal care, on the advice of a doctor or pharmacist.

Side Effects

• Uncommon (up to 1 in 100 people): raised calcium in the blood, raised calcium in the urine
• Rare (up to 1 in 1,000 people): skin rash, itching, hives
• Frequency not known: altered bowel movements, wind, nausea, stomach pain
