Peptazole 30mg Capsule 14 Capsules (PEPTAZOLE) is an enteric-coated capsule containing the active ingredient lansoprazole 30 mg. It irreversibly inhibits the H+/K+-ATPase (proton pump) in gastric parietal cells, blocking the final step of acid secretion and thereby reducing gastric acid production. It is indicated for duodenal and gastric ulcers, NSAID-associated gastric and duodenal ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and erosive esophagitis, for Helicobacter pylori eradication as part of combination therapy, and for Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. Available by prescription as enteric-coated capsules in a pack of 14 capsules.
