Indications

Approved Uses

Temporary relief of burning, irritation, and discomfort due to dryness of the eye (dry eye) and minor irritations from environmental exposure (e.g., wind/sun).

Off-Label Uses

Supportive ocular surface lubrication in situations such as environmental irritation (dust/wind/smoke) and adjunct lubrication after ocular procedures if advised by a clinician; contact lens rewetting only if the product labeling permits use with lenses.

Dosage & Administration

Dosing by Condition

Dry eye/ocular irritation: Instill 1-2 drops in the affected eye(s) as needed; may be used several times daily according to symptoms or as directed on labeling.

How to Take

Wash hands. Tilt head back, pull down the lower eyelid to form a pocket, instill 1-2 drops into the affected eye(s) without touching the dropper tip to the eye/skin/surfaces, then gently close the eye for 1-2 minutes; nasolacrimal occlusion (gentle pressure at the inner corner) for ~1 minute may be used to reduce drainage. If using other eye medicines, separate administrations by at least 5-10 minutes.
