Dosage & Administration
Dosing by Condition
Adults and adolescents ≥12 years (oral syrup 1 mg/mL): 10-20 mg (10-20 mL) up to 3-4 times daily for GI spasm/IBS; for acute colicky pain, doses in the same range may be used up to 4 times daily as needed. Children 6-12 years: 5-10 mg (5-10 mL) up to 3 times daily (per local labeling where approved).
Initial Dose
10 mg three times daily for Irritable Bowel Syndrome.
Maintenance Dose
10-20 mg (10-20 ml) three to four times daily
