Active Ingredients
- Amylmetacresol 0.6 mg — antiseptic for sore throat relief.
- 2,4-Dichlorobenzyl alcohol 1.2 mg — antiseptic that complements amylmetacresol against bacteria responsible for sore throat.
Indication
Strepsils Honey & Lemon lozenges are used for sore throat, gum inflammation, mouth ulcers, oral thrush, and dental ulcers by reducing and killing bacteria on the surfaces inside the mouth.
How to Use
- Place one lozenge in the mouth.
- Allow the lozenge to dissolve slowly in the mouth - do not chew or swallow whole.
- Repeat every 2-3 hours as needed.
- Do not exceed 8 lozenges in a single day.
Dosage Guide
- Adults and children: dissolve one lozenge slowly in the mouth every 2-3 hours.
- Do not exceed 8 lozenges per day.
Contraindications
- Do not use if you have a known hypersensitivity to amylmetacresol, 2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol, or any other ingredient.
- Do not exceed 12 lozenges in 24 hours.
- Not recommended for children under 6 years of age.
