Dosage & Administration
Dosing by Condition
Allergic conjunctivitis (0.1% ophthalmic solution): instill 1 drop in each affected eye(s) twice daily, about 6-8 hours apart.

Dose Adjustment Notes
No dosage adjustment is generally required in renal or hepatic impairment with ophthalmic use due to minimal systemic absorption.
How to Take
Wash hands. Remove contact lenses (especially soft lenses) before use. Tilt head back, pull down lower eyelid to form a pocket, instill 1 drop into the conjunctival sac without touching the dropper tip to the eye/skin/any surface. Close the eye gently for 1-2 minutes and apply gentle pressure to the inner corner (nasolacrimal occlusion). If using other eye drops, separate by at least 5 minutes. Reinsert contact lenses after at least 10-15 minutes.

Common Side Effects
Common: transient burning/stinging or irritation on instillation, blurred vision, dry eye, abnormal/foreign body sensation, headache; dysgeusia (bad taste) can occur.
Side Effect Frequency
Common (1-10%): ocular irritation/burning/stinging, eye pain, dry eye, headache, dysgeusia (bad taste). Uncommon (0.1-1%): blurred vision, keratitis, eyelid edema, ocular hyperemia; other nasopharyngeal symptoms may occur.

Missed Dose
