Active Ingredients
- Nystatin (per label) — polyene antifungal that acts locally on Candida species in the mouth and gastrointestinal tract. Nystatin is not absorbed systemically and acts only on contact with Candida in the GI lumen.
Indication
Miragel is indicated for the local treatment of oral and gastrointestinal candidiasis (thrush of the mouth, throat, oesophagus, and intestines). Nystatin acts locally on Candida — it is not absorbed into the bloodstream.
How to Style
- Take Miragel after eating.
- When treating mouth and throat infections, hold the gel in the mouth for as long as possible before swallowing.
