Indications

Approved Uses

Symptomatic treatment of dry eye/keratoconjunctivitis sicca (e.g., burning, foreign-body sensation) due to tear film instability or environmental factors; may be used for ocular surface lubrication/protection including after ophthalmic procedures as directed.

Off-Label Uses

Adjunct ocular surface lubrication after ophthalmic surgery (e.g., refractive/cataract) and for contact lens-related dryness/discomfort (if compatible with lens use per product instructions).

Dosage & Administration

Dosing by Condition

Dry eye: Instill 1 drop into the affected eye(s) about 3 times daily; may be used more frequently as needed based on symptoms/clinician advice.

Dose Adjustment Notes

No dose adjustment is required in renal or hepatic impairment; systemic absorption is negligible with ophthalmic sodium hyaluronate.
