Storage & Patient Advice
SFDA Storage Conditions
store below 25°c
Storage Conditions
Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place, protected from moisture and direct sunlight; keep out of reach of children.
Patient Counseling
Take 1 tablet orally once daily, preferably with a meal to reduce gastrointestinal upset from iron. Avoid taking at the same time as tea/coffee, dairy products, or calcium/antacid supplements because they can reduce iron (and zinc) absorption; separate by at least 2 hours. If also using tetracycline/quinolone antibiotics or levothyroxine, separate dosing by at least 4 hours. Dark stools and mild constipation/nausea can occur with iron. Keep out of reach of children due to risk of accidental iron overdose. Do not exceed the recommended dose; consult a clinician if pregnant/breastfeeding or if you have iron overload disorders. Hair benefits, if any, require consistent use for several months.
