How to Use

Hands are washed with warm water and mild soap and dried thoroughly before use.
The grey end of the Contour® TS test strip is inserted into the meter's test strip port; a droplet symbol appears on the monitor to indicate readiness.
A sterile lancet is used to puncture the side of the finger.
The side of the test strip is lightly touched to the blood droplet and held in place until the meter beeps, drawing blood into the strip.
Results, along with the unit, date, and time, are displayed on the monitor after the 5-second countdown completes.

Safety Tips

A sterile lancet is used each time to puncture the finger, maintaining hygiene during the blood sampling process.
Hands are fully dried before use, as moisture on the fingers may affect the blood sample and the reading.
The finger is held at an angle so that either side of the test strip makes contact with the blood droplet, allowing proper blood draw into the strip.
Only Contour® TS test strips are used with the Contour® TS meter to obtain a valid reading.

Storage

Test strips are stored away from direct sunlight and heat to maintain their integrity.
Strips are kept in their original container to protect them from moisture and contamination.
The product is kept out of reach of children.
Strips are not used past their expiry date, as indicated on the packaging.
