How to Prepare

Wash the bottle, teat and utensils and boil them for five minutes. Boil drinking water separately and let it cool. Add one level scoop of powder to every 60 ml of water, levelling the scoop with the edge of a knife, then mix until fully dissolved and check the temperature before feeding.

Storage

Store the unopened tin at room temperature below 25 degrees Celsius. Keep an opened tin covered in a cool, dry place rather than the refrigerator, and use it within three weeks. Any extra prepared feed may be refrigerated between 2 and 4 degrees Celsius for up to 24 hours.

Safety Tips

Breast milk is best for babies. Prepare one feed at a time, give it straight away and throw away anything your baby does not finish. Hold your baby while feeding and never leave your baby alone with a bottle. Do not change the powder-to-water proportions without medical advice. Never use a microwave to prepare or warm the formula, as it can cause severe burns. Powdered formula is not sterile and should not be given to premature infants or infants with immune problems except under a doctor's direction.
