How to Use Always perform a skin allergy test 48 hours before colouring. Put on gloves and mix the colourant and developer in a non-metallic bowl. Apply the mixture to dry, unwashed hair, starting at the roots and covering all hair. Leave on for 30 minutes, then rinse until the water runs clear.
