Product Features

• Breathable Film Technology: The film is modulated to allow excess moisture to transpire through it, with moisture evaporation 3-4 times faster than standard film dressings.
• Water and Fluid Impermeability: The Opsite film is impermeable to water and body fluids, allowing bathing and showering without changing the dressing.
• Absorbent Pad with Clear Film Border: The dressing features a clear film surrounding a central absorbent pad.
• Hypoallergenic Adhesive: The dressing uses a skin-friendly, hypoallergenic adhesive.
• Extended Wear Duration: The dressing is designed to remain in place for up to 7 days.
• Bacterial Barrier: The film acts as a barrier against bacteria.

How to Use

1. Hands are washed before and after handling the wound.
2. The wound and surrounding skin are gently cleaned and dried thoroughly.
3. The cover is removed and the dressing is lightly applied to the wound, with pressure applied around the absorbent pad to seal it in place.
4. The printed cover on top of the dressing is removed to reveal the breathable film.
5. To remove, each corner is lifted and stretched outwards, away from the absorbent pad, allowing the dressing to lift away; particular care is taken when removing from sensitive or fragile skin.

Safety Tips

• The dressing is applied and removed with care when used on sensitive or fragile skin, as with all adhesive products.
• Once the packaging has been opened, the product is kept in the original packaging and stored in a clean, resealable plastic bag.
• The product is stored away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture.
