Age Suitability

For infants aged 6 to 12 months, as the liquid part of the diet during and after weaning alongside other foods.

How to Prepare

Wash your hands, then wash the bottle, teat and cap until no milk remains and boil them for five minutes, leaving them covered until use. Boil drinking water for five minutes and let it cool to about body temperature so the live cultures are preserved. Following the feeding table, pour the exact amount of lukewarm water into the bottle, add the exact number of level scoops using only the scoop supplied and levelling with the inner rim, then shake until the powder dissolves fully.

How to Use

From the sixth month: 210 ml of water with five scoops, seven feeds a day. From the seventh month onwards: 210 ml of water with three to four scoops, seven feeds a day, as cereals and vegetables are gradually introduced.

Storage

Close the tin tightly after every use, keep it in a cool, dry place and use the contents within three weeks of opening.

Safety Tips

Use this formula under medical supervision only, and follow your doctor's advice on how long to use it. Breast milk is best for babies. Prepare one feed at a time, give it straight away and throw away anything your baby does not finish. Hold your baby while feeding and never leave your baby alone with a bottle. Do not change the powder-to-water proportions without medical advice. This formula is not to be used as a breast-milk substitute during the first six months of life. If your baby already has a declared allergy to cow's milk protein, do not use it without asking your doctor, and introduce any other formula or cow's milk only under medical supervision. Water that has not been boiled, bottles that have not been sterilised, or incorrect dilution can make your baby ill.
