Product Features

How to Use

1. The Home Button is pressed to turn on the Reader.
2. The touchscreen is used to complete the initial Reader setup before first use.
3. The Reader is held near the Sensor to wirelessly scan and retrieve glucose readings.
4. Low and High Glucose Alarms are turned on and configured through the Reader settings if alarm functionality is desired.
5. When a Low or High Glucose Alarm is received, a glucose result is obtained to determine the appropriate next action, using the current glucose reading, trend arrow, and glucose graph together.

Safety Tips

• The Low and High Glucose Alarms must not be used as the sole method for detecting low or high glucose conditions.
• Glucose alarms are intended to be used in conjunction with the current glucose reading, glucose trend arrow, and glucose graph displayed on the Reader.
• For children aged 4 to 12, use of the Reader and Sensor is limited to those supervised by a caregiver who is at least 18 years of age; the caregiver is responsible for managing or assisting with the device and interpreting glucose readings.
• Upon opening the Reader Kit and Sensor Kit, contents are checked to confirm they are undamaged and that all listed parts are present; Customer Service is contacted if any parts are missing or damaged.

• The Sensor is a disposable component and is not intended for reuse.
