First Step Fix is a self-adhesive non-woven dressing with a soft fabric pad and a medical acrylic adhesive border. The non-woven fabric is made of pressed fibres, which makes the pad absorbent and helps it draw fluid away from the covered area without clinging to it. Each dressing measures 5 x 7 cm and is supplied sterile, five to a box.

Self-adhesive non-woven dressing with an absorbent, low-adherent fabric pad and a medical acrylic adhesive border. Supplied sterile (EO), 5 x 7 cm, five per box.

How to Use

Clean the area around the wound and make sure it has stopped bleeding. Peel the backing off, centre the pad over the wound and smooth the adhesive sides down without pressing on the wound itself.

Sizing & Fit

Each dressing measures 5 x 7 cm (2 in x 2 3/4 in). Box of 5.

Safety Tips

Do not use if the sterile wrapper is torn or open. Change the dressing if it becomes wet or soiled, and see a doctor if the wound shows redness, swelling or other signs of infection.
