Age Suitability

For babies from 6 to 12 months at higher risk of allergy, alongside breastfeeding or from birth if you are not breastfeeding.

How to Prepare

Wash your hands and sterilise the feeding equipment. Boil fresh water and let it cool in the kettle for about 30 minutes, then measure the amount shown in the feeding guide into a sterilised bottle. Add level scoops using only the scoop supplied, shake for ten seconds until dissolved, and check the temperature on your wrist before feeding.

Storage

Close the tin tightly after every use and keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Safety Tips

Use this formula under medical supervision only, and follow your doctor's advice on how long to use it. Breast milk is best for babies. Prepare one feed at a time, give it straight away and throw away anything your baby does not finish. Hold your baby while feeding and never leave your baby alone with a bottle. Do not change the powder-to-water proportions without medical advice. This formula is not a treatment for an existing cow's milk allergy. Use a made-up feed within one hour and always discard unfinished feeds. Do not heat it in a microwave, as hot spots may cause scalding, and do not reuse water that was boiled earlier.
